Visiting U.S Air Force Academy
The U.S Air Force Academy is one of the largest tourist attractions in Colorado. It is approximately 60 miles from Denver but only 13 minutes from Colorado Springs. Escorted tours are available as well as self guided tours of the campus. One of the popular places to visit is the Cadet Chapel. Visitors walk a paved nature trail to reach the chapel. Arnold Hall is also great to visit. The auditorium holds special events and the hall features military and Academy exhibits.
