What is Door-to-Door service? Transit Van will pick you up at your home/office location and deliver you to the curb of your destination.
How long does it take for Transit Van to pick me up at the airport? Under normal circumstances the process takes no more than 10/15 minutes from the time you arrive at the airport. Once you have claimed your luggage just dial our toll free number 1-866-261-3114 and our driver will pick you up at curb-side.
Meet and Greet This option (extra fee) our driver will meet the client in the baggage claim area with sign placards with your first and last name, take you to the vehicle, load your baggage and drive you directly to your destination.
Do I have to make a reservation? Yes, for all transportation to a port (Airport, Train Depot or Cruise Ship Terminal) a reservation is required, with the exception of area hotels where guests can arrange transportation to a port on an as needed bases by the concierge / bell staff.
Is there a fee for canceling a reservation? We do not charge a fee if you want to cancel your reservation with the exception of delayed cancellations for Classic Transit Sedan Reservations:
All reservations not canceled at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled pick-up time WILL BE CHARGED 50% of the booking rate
Do you offer any discounts? Not at this time.
Do you offer other transportation besides going to and from the Airport? Transit Van is a full service transportation company; we offer drop-off/pick-up service to most ports of entry in Southern California. You can also arrange to Charter your transportation needs for other than to/from a port from our large Fleet of vehicles. Transit Van offers Mini-Bus Wheel Chair lift Vehicles.
Can I pay the driver when I am picked up? Yes, we accept Cash, Checks, all Major Credit Cards or Traveler's Checks. (Exception) Airport pick-up requires credit card payments only.
How do I make changes to my reservation after booking it? After you have booked an online reservation you can confirm or cancel your reservation online you can make changes by sending via email a request to email@example.com. To make a change you need to cancel your current reservation and make a new one. Any reservation made over the phone CANNOT be reviewed on-line. Changes within 24 hours before your departure or arrival need to be called into our reservations department at 1-866-261-3114 as soon as possible. Please have your confirmation number ready for reference.
What are the luggage restrictions? Each passenger is allowed 2 pieces of luggage. Excessive amounts of or larger sized luggage are subject to a $5 baggage handling charge per item; these include, but are not limited to, surfboards, skis, large animal carriers, snow boards, steamer trunks Duffle bags and alike.
Do I have to pay full price for my child? All children age 3 and under ride for free! Car seats are not provided. A parent or guardian must accompany anyone under the age of 18 unless special arrangements are made.
